Members

NFDH was formed in 1995 with 8 district level member organizations. It is strictly maintaining that the majority above 70% of deaf representation to be tin the Board is precondition for the affiliation. Now the numbers of member organization are 24, and two are in the process of affiliation to two more deaf associations. NFDH is to work on national level. NFDH has goad to have 75 member organizations in 75 districts so that, the whole population of the deaf need to be covered, and include in the deaf community at local and national level.

NFDH has put some disciplines, to observe by the member organizations and the conditions which, if meet, can get the membership in NFDH. This is to protect the deaf movement and deaf culture. Through unity in among the deaf people. The conditions of statute are as below.

1. One member organization from one district.
2. Deaf leadership and deaf majority in the Board.
3. To get the member of local organization, it must be the local deaf.
